That probably depends of your connection speed, we have uploaded the smf forum script in 2 min, if I remember correctly. :)

ask your hoster to enable it at your account,...
all of our customers has ssh enabled.

there are 'hosts' and 'hosts'
I don't think they can deny ssh access to customers.

SSH can be a security risk.

And SMF is only 8MB.  phpB is 15. ;)

ssh is always enabled but not yet activated for use in all of the hosting accounts, when customer needs to use it, he just need to click the button 'ON' and then we will receive that request and then ssh is activated for his/her account.

Ah, not a bad way to do things.  Most hosts I've dealt with require you to e-mail them, or open a Support Ticket.
