Mail8 upgrade

On Saturday 1/7/06 we will be upgrading the data drive on Mail8. The
current drive is at 90% usage. We will be replacing the drive with one
that is twice as large and 50% faster.

Due to the size of the drive and the number of small files, it will take
 approximately 2 hours to do the copy. In order to maintain consistency,
 mail services will be disabled during the copy process. Mail will not
be lost during this upgrade, its delivery will simply be delayed.

The upgrade will start at 10PM EST (03:00 GMT 1/8) and will be complete
within 2 hours.

The server has finished its final reboot and is up answering requests. The upgrade went off without a hitch.
